Hi, I’m Louise Weigel. Welcome to “About Living Differently.” My podcast is all about those dark, uncertain moments—the times when you don’t know which way to go next or even how to get out of bed. I have this feeling that those moments, the ones we often want to rush through, are actually full of possibility. What if instead of running from the unknown, we lingered there? What if we looked around and saw something new—or saw the old in a new light? Here, you’ll find my thoughts, stories from my guests, and whatever else feels connected to this idea of finding our way by getting a little lost.
About Me
“You’ve lived many lives”—this is what people often say to me. I’ve been lucky to work as a coach and facilitator, helping people find their way forward, and that’s stayed with me in everything else I do. I spent six incredible years at L’Oréal, diving deep into digital marketing—e-commerce, campaigns, activations, creating big global stories, experimenting with new formats. And then, after my son was born and I hit burnout, I felt it was time to try something I’d always wanted: writing.
Now, I’m writing and illustrating children’s books and short stories, exploring this whole world of imagination, resilience, and wonder for kids. I never really stop searching—that’s just who I am. And this podcast is an extension of that search, a space where I hope you’ll see that most of us are figuring it out as we go. Sometimes, if you let go and lean in, a little magic happens.
